A little bit about myself.

Okay fine, you found me! The reason why I have noodles everywhere is because I love noodles, and I could honestly eat them every day for the rest of my life!!

Just like noodles, my creative brain is tangled in the best way, weaving through new ideas and taking different shapes. That curiosity and love for creating led me to Duke Engineering, where I combine my background in architecture with a passion for design and innovation.

Architecture to UX whattttttt?

IMG_9823_edited.jpg

College was my first exposure to design, though it was through architecture. At first, it felt different from product design, but I quickly realized the overlap.... both focus on guiding how people experience something, whether it’s moving through a space or interacting with a digital product. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked (maybe partly because I didn’t want to waste years of design training haha) In architecture school, I loved exploring how people engaged with a space, and despite the countless sleepless nights, I don’t regret a thing. That mindset of designing for experience naturally carried into my passion for UX.

Kind words...

“Annie was always one of those students who brought genuine curiosity and methodical thinking to every class and assignment. I consistently observed her conscientious approach to learning and her ability to ask thoughtful questions that got to the heart of complex problems. Her background in architectural design clearly shaped her analytical skills, and I can see how she’s channeled that systematic thinking into her UX work. Annie has the kind of thoughtful, user-centered mindset and strong work ethic that makes for an excellent designer. Any team would benefit from her dedication and attention to detail.”
